Still painting the MICO house. God has brought so many blessings! Starting with a group of High school kids from Paddock View last week to help out. We had a great time. Then a couple friends Wednesday for some blitz painting. God held off the rain that was supposed to last ALL day long! :) Didn't even start to sprinkle till we were completely done with cleaning up.
THEN - I had to return my ladders to my bro, but just after that, scaffolding was offered to us and dropped off!
Now - today was the first day that I didn't have other workers show up, but it was sure fun standing super high on scaffolding and painting all day on 7th and Boots. I got some good comments.
"Is that a lady up there!?"
"You should get more paint on the wall than you do on yourself!"
"Don't fall"
And the best - "I hope you DO fall... right into my arms."
Oh dear... life is just so funny. and very fun.

With an open door to talk about Jesus, and kids hungry for affirmation in their identity and a bright future, this was an amazing job. Ran a non-profit, started an after school tutoring program, lived with groups of girl friends in houses downtown taking part in community gardens, dance parties, and trips to parks with kids... God brought me to Bethel School of Ministry in Sept. 2011 and has rocked me with how REAL, personal, and POWERFRUL he really is. Every day is new growth and a lovely process with Him.
